Dr. Amr Morsy, CEO of Rameda
Dr. Morsy has more than 25 years of experience that cover strategic and operational expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Morsy brings to Rameda a wide range of experience in Finance, Business Planning and Strategy, Human Resources, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing. Prior to joining Rameda, Dr. Morsy was the country manager of Pfizer Egypt, which he joined in 1995, prior to which, he was a director at Schering-Plough in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Morsy holds a B.Sc of Pharmacy degree from Alexandria University, and an MBA from Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Alexandria, Egypt.
Ayman Mamdouh Abbas, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Abbas brings a plethora of experience to Rameda. He is co-founder and managing partner at Compass Capital. Prior to founding Compass Capital, he has founded and managed over 11 companies in the areas of oil services, IT, telecom, real estate and private equity. Mr. Abbas remains the Managing Director of Intro Group, Vice Chairman of Invensys Engineering & Services, Managing Director of Advanced Energy Systems, and Managing Director of Egyptian Chinese Drilling Company.
Abbas holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
Shamel Fahim Aboul Fadl
Mr. Aboul Fadl brings extensive experience in the areas of finance and operations. Mr. Aboul Fadl is the Founder, and CEO of Compass Capital. Prior to founding Compass Capital, Mr. Aboul Fadl was Managing Partner at Pharos Holding for Financial Investments from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, Aboul Fadl served as Vice President at Citigroup in Switzerland, primarily focused on the MENA region. Prior to Citi Group, Aboul Fadl was Vice President at Mansour & Maghraby Investment and Development focusing on private equity and venture capital investment.
Aboul Fadl holds a B.Sc. in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo and an MBA from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Ahmed Hossam Omar
Mr. Omar is the Managing Director of United Pharmaceutical Company (UPC), the largest distributor of Pharmaceuticals in Egypt with a market share of around 43%.
Mr. El Nazer is co-founder and partner of Dubai based HK Ventures, a company investing in small and medium sized businesses. Between 2003 and 2010, Mr. El Nazer held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Egyptian Call Center Operator (ECCO). Since 1998, El Nazer has been playing a key role as the director and co-founder of Egyptian Telecom Services Corp. (ETS), a telecommunication services company and agent of Telecom Italia in Egypt.
Mr. El Nazer holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo, and an MBA from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
Mr. Awad is the Chairman and Managing Director of Franco Arab Trading Company (FATCO), a company specializing in the field of commercial agencies and representation.
Mr. Awad holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
